Equipotential bonding between the vacuum module and the conductive
surface of the installation site
To establish a conductive connection between the vacuum module and the conductive surface of the
installation site a grounding cable (green-yellow, 80 cm in length, diameter 6 mm² ) with ring cable lugs
is supplied with the vacuum module.
Like the VDL, the vacuum module provides a fixation screw fitting for grounding on the bottom left of
the rear panel. Unscrew the nut and fix the ring cable lug of the grounding cable on stud bolt of the
screw fitting. Secure the connection with a toothed disk and screw on the nut again.
Connect the other end of the grounding cable with the conductive surface of the installation site.

Connection of a suction system at the vacuum module

In any case, the entire installation area should be provided with a technical ventilation (suction), which
serves to prevent formation of an explosive atmosphere during loading of the oven as well as during
removal of the charging material after incomplete drying.
In addition we recommend to connect a suction system to the provided connection on the rear panel of
the vacuum module (exhaust air connection diameter 100 mm , approx. 40 mm in length). This serves
to prevent the formation of an explosive atmosphere inside the vacuum module in case any solvents
are accidentally spilled when removing the filled condensate collector flask.
