Stop-Start will be active in
normal mode. Gear changes
are configured to offer the
N
Normal
optimum economy without
sacrificing the vehicle's
inherent performance.
Gear changes will occur at a
higher engine speed and
S
Sport
with a reduced shift
duration.
Gear change strategy is at
its sharpest, changes occur
T
Track
instantly, according to
throttle response.
The different gear change strategies outlined
above are only relevant with automatic mode
selected.
The mode selected will remain active, until
the selection is changed, or the ignition is
switched off.

When the active dynamics panel is off, the
Powertrain display in the central screen
display will show Normal, see Handling and
Powertrain Display, page 3.31.
NOTE: Whilst in Normal mode, and
neutral is selected, the engine speed is
electronically limited.
WARNING: Do not initiate Race mode
unless on a track. Race mode must not
be used on any public road under any
circumstances. Before initiating Race
mode, ensure all doors, luggage
compartment and service tray access
panels are closed. Also ensure that the
prevailing track conditions are suitable
for Race mode.
