MAINTAINING YOUR McLAREN
FLUID TOPPING UP
Topping-up the Engine Oil
ENVIRONMENTAL: When topping up,
take care not to spill any oil. Oil must not
be allowed to escape into the soil or
waterways.
WARNING: The engine must be switched
off before carrying out the oil top up
process. There is a risk of injury if the oil
cap is removed with an engine running.
NOTE: McLaren only recommends the
use of Mobil 1 New Life 0W-40 engine oil.
1. Stop the engine.
2. Press down and then lift up the service
tray access panel on the passenger's
side of the roof.
3. Unscrew the engine oil filler cap
anti-clockwise.
