BEFORE YOU DRIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM Tow-away protection Tow-away protection is designed to prevent any attempt to steal the vehicle by suspended tow or by lifting onto a trailer. The alarm is triggered if the vehicle is raised or tilted in any way. Tow-away protection is armed approximately 30 seconds after the vehicle has been locked and is disarmed when the vehicle is unlocked.
