FLUID TOPPING UP
3. If all of the prerequisite conditions have
been achieved you will be taken to the
apply throttle screen.
NOTE: The oil level check will limit the
RPM input to 2,000 RPM once the test
has begun, but the throttle pedal must
be applied for the duration of the oil level
check. If the throttle pedal is released
and the engine speed drops below 2,000
RPM during the oil level check, then the
oil level check will abort, and return you
to the apply throttle screen.

4. Apply throttle and raise the engine
speed to 2,000 RPM. The 40 second
countdown timer will begin when the oil
temperature has exceeded 70°C (158°F).
When the timer has reached '0', the oil
level will be shown on the display along
with a description.
NOTE: The pair of green arrows on the
display indicates the target oil level.
NOTE: Once the oil level check has been
completed and returned a value, do not
continue to test the system. This may
lead to aeration of the oil. To end the oil
level check, release the throttle pedal
and return to the Vehicle info menu by
moving the menu stalk back.
5. If the engine oil is below the target level,
top up the oil in accordance to the
following procedure.
