DRIVING CONTROLS
HANDLING AND POWERTRAIN CONTROLS
WARNING: Check before manual
operation of the rear wing, that there is
no possibility of a person being injured
by the operation of the wing or that
damage can be caused by something
being trapped by the rear wing
operation.
WARNING: Always check that no person
sits on the rear end of the vehicle as this
may damage the vehicle.
For the standard modes - Normal, Sport, and
Track, the wing extends by 120mm (5 inches)
at a pitch angle which varies with the selected
handling mode. In Race mode the rear wing
extends 300mm (12 inches) and has the
maximum pitch set.
NOTE: The rear wing system and front
aero flaps operation are automatically
deactivated if the ambient temperature
falls close to freezing, or at engine
speeds below 500 RPM. A warning
message will appear on the instrument
cluster if operation of the system is
selected and the environmental and
vehicle conditions are outside the

operating parameters. The rear wing
system will automatically reactivate
when acceptable operating parameters
are met.
WARNING: DRS changes the downforce
levels and aerodynamic balance of the
vehicle. Always use DRS with caution.
DRS will automatically deactivate, even
with the DRS button pressed if the
system detects that the vehicle is
cornering or the driver starts to brake.
The timing of the automatic deactivation
will be dependent on mode selected.
WARNING: DRS is appropriate for track
use and not when driving on public
roads.
If Active Aero mode is set to on, the wing will
raise immediately when the engine is started.
1. normal driving position
2. downforce position
3. race position
If Active Aero mode is set to off, the wing will
raise when the vehicle reaches 130 kph
(80 mph) and lower when the vehicle reaches
50 kph (31 mph).
NOTE: There is a 5 second delay
programmed into this functionality to
ensure the rear wing does not cycle up
and down repeatedly whilst moving in
traffic.
