4.2 Checking instrument board
- Detach connector of instrument board and deliver power
to connector using two leads.
- Battery (+) cable
- Battery (-) cable
- White/Green cable between probe and instrument board
is interrupted.
- Repair (see wiring diagram).
NOTE:
- If black cable is interrupted, the "Fuel reserve" indicator light will also not be working.
- When key is "ON", make sure power is delivered (12 Volts DC) between black cable (1) (three-way
connector) and blue cable (2) (single cable).
- blue cable = positive
- black cable = negative
5. FUEL RESERVE INDICATOR LIGHT IS NOT WORKING
When key is turned ON, reserve light should come on
for a few seconds, even if the tank is full.
5.1 Fuel probe
- Detach connector of probe.
- Provide jumper between grey cable and black cable of
three-way wiring connector.
- Grey cable between probe and instrument board is interrupted.
- Repair (see wiring diagram).
