When you connect the device via the USB-cable to the PC (if the
device was switched on), the device automatically switches off and
goes to the charging mode. Run the "Spectra Reader" software and
enter the correct password to switch to the mode of data
communication with the PC. After you stopped operating and exited
from the "Spectra Reader" software, the device automatically turns
off and goes to the charging mode until disconnected from the PC.
2.3.3.1 Switching the device on and entering the measurement
mode
To switch the device on, hold down the central joystick button
for at least 3 seconds. A backlit graphical color display (further - the
display) indicates that the device is on, and then it will show
information about the device and the producer's trademark (Fig. 2).
If icon appears on the display when you try to turn on the
device, it means that the battery is completely discharged and it
should be charged.
Note. You can use the necessary options of the settings to turn on
or turn off the sound, light, and/or vibration signals that enable the
device.
