Proximal Tibial Cut

Instrument Assembly
Warning: The femoral distal cut guide must not
have moved to perform an accurate distal cut
validation.
In reference to lot #110623 and #120264 of
the validation tool and the Zimmer NexGen
Posterior Referencing Instruments: Do not
place the NexGen Posterior Referencing 4-in-1
Flex Femoral Cut Guide into the holes created
by the validation tool. The posterior referencing
sizer, which creates the peg holes for the 4-in1
cut guide, and the validation tool have equal
distances between their pegs.
The tibial adjustment mechanisms are side specific.
Depending on the patient side:
1. Pull out the handle of the tibial positioner.

2. Connect the tibial positioner to the tibial
adjustment mechanism.
3. Push on the handle of the tibial positioner to lock
the mechanism in place.
4. For a left knee procedure, clip the reference pod
to the back receptacle of the left tibial adjustment
mechanism.
For a right knee procedure, clip the reference
pod to the back receptable of the right tibial
adjustment mechanism.
5. Clip the cut guide pod to the tibial alignment
guide.
Note: The left/right tibial positioners are
side specific and must be used with the
corresponding left/right tibial adjustment
mechanism.
