Empower offers the option of selecting a System Shutdown Method, which is
executed at the end of the sequence.

To generate a shutdown method, define the desired shutdown
conditions, such as vials and times in the CE/DAD method screen first
and select Shutdown after Run. It is possible to perform a selective
shutdown, for example only the DAD.
To execute the shutdown method, either select the shutdown method in
the Run Sample set window or load the shutdown method as the last
line of the sequence.
