Main lift actuator

WARNING! A minimum of two people are required to safely replace the main lift
actuator
Removal
1. Ensure the bed is in its lowest position
2. Disconnect the mains cable from the electrical power supply
3. Remove the head and foot boards from the bed
4. Place the bed on its side using a set of transporters
5. Remove the security clip on the control box
6. Disconnect the main lift actuator from the control box, located in port 1
7. Remove the lid from the trunking on the lower section and remove the main lift
actuator cable
8. Remove both locking pins from each end of the actuator
Install
1. Place the actuator into position
2. Insert the locking pins through the beds brackets and the actuator
3. Place the cable into the trunking and then secure the top back on the trunking
4. Reconnect the actuator to the control box and then secure with the security clip
5. Lower the bed down from the transporter kit
6. Connect the bed to the mains power
7. Test the functionality of the actuator
