6. Allow the battery to charge for 24 hours

Nurse lock out

Removal
1. Disconnect the mains cable from the electrical power supply
2. Remove the security clip on the control box
3. Pull the cable away from the control box
4. Disconnect the handset from the nurse lock out
5. Remove the nurse lock out from the linen tray by removing the two screws at either
side of the box
Install
1. Secure the nurse lock out to the linen tray using the two screws that were previously
removed
2. Insert the handset cable securly into the nurse lockout
3. Insert the nurse lockout into the control box and secure using the securing clip
4. Connect the bed to the mains power
5. Turn the nurse lockout to the unlock position and test all handset functions

Handset

Removal
1. Disconnect the mains cable from the electrical power supply
2. Disconnect the handset from the nurse lock out
Install
1. Insert the handset cable securly into the nurse lockout
2. Connect the bed to the mains power
3. Turn the nurse lockout to the unlock position and test all handset functions
