adjust the cable accordingly. Tighten the grub screw once the cable has been adjusted. Test
the manual CPR function after adjustment.
Castors & brakes
Apply the brakes on the bed and attempt to push the bed, the bed should not move.
Brakes that fail to lock indicates the castor requires adjustment or replacement
Assess the castors to ensure they are clear of any obstuction.
Battery
Check the condition of the battery.
1. Place the bed on charge for 24 hours
2. Disconnect the bed from the mains
3. Apply a load of 100kg to the back rest platform
4. Fully raise and lower the back rest section 3 times
5. If the battery fails during testing, replace
Manual calf rest section
Raise the thigh rest, then lift the calf section to the desired position, the calf rest will click
into place. To lower the calf section lift the calf rest to its maximum height (this will release
the ratchet) and lower the section slowly.
