Transmit logic
The task of the transmit logic is to boost (Com Boost) the PLC transmitter and transmit a
signal (signaling relay output Com Send) [HFSEND] to the opposite end of the line (signaling
relay output Com Boost) [HFBOOST].
General rules are:
• The underreaching zone transmits the signal in a permissive underreaching transfer
tripping scheme (PUTT).
• The overreaching zone transmits the signal in a permissive overreaching transfer tripping
scheme (POTT).
• The reverse measuring zone transmits the blocking signal in an overreaching blocking
scheme (BLOCK OR).
