Diagnosis using the statistical information of packet transmission and reception
(1) Check the number of times that packet data has been transmitted and received. When the number does not increase,
some cables might be disconnected.
(Note) When CC-Link IE communication is made, check the number of times that the data has been received only.
(2) Check the number of times that errors have occurred in packet transmission and packet reception. When the number
is increasing, noise might occur.
Check the following items.
The device which generates noise does not exist.
Preventive measure for noises (e.g. Ethernet cable is clamped) is done.
The Ethernet cable is not deteriorated.
(Note 1) Measures for preventing noise (e.g. the Ethernet cable is clamped) is taken.
(Note 2) Regardless of the noise influences the number may increase by a small amount by turning the power ON/
OFF or by connection or disconnection of the Ethernet cable.
