Correct
the
problem
Isolating
a
malf
unct
ion
is
as
important
as
co
r
rect
i
ng
the
tro uble.
Use
a good
systematic
ap
-
proach to locate the problem
in
the
minimum
amount
of t ime. Al
l
service operations
can be
so lved
by
following these
three steps:
Obtain from
t
he owner an accurate descr
iption of
the
trouble,
operat ing
cond it ions,
and
mai n-
tenance
history. In
many
cases, these will he lp to
isolate
the
trouble. Sometimes
solving the problem
is not
enough,
and the cause has created ot her un-
detected problems. Use the

guide

solving the
