MAINTENANCE
Read all of SAFETY and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to Notices, Cautions, Warnings and Dangers.

SUSPENSION INSPECTION

Inspect the vehicle suspension every 500 hours or when poor ride quality is noticed. Do not operate the vehicle with
damaged suspension components.
Inspect the bump stops for the front and rear suspension for damage. Replace damaged bump stops.
Inspect vehicle shocks and springs for proper operation. Inspect suspension hardware. Replace damaged or missing
hardware.

CARE AND CLEANING

Clean the vehicle and accessories after each use. To prevent damage to the engine, do not wash the vehicle with the
engine in operation. When possible, clean the vehicle with compressed air.
NOTICE: Do not wash any part of the vehicle that is hot. Do not use high-pressure spray or steam. Use cold
water and automotive cleaners.
Use compressed air to clean the engine and the radiator fins. Do not pressure wash the engine.
Use clean water to wash your equipment.
NOTICE: The use of salt water or dirty water is known to cause rust and corrosion of metal parts and can cause
damage or failure. This damage is not covered by the factory warranty.
Do not spray water at the control panel, ignition switch, controller or other electrical components.
Clean all plastic or rubber parts with a mild soap solution or commercially available rubber cleaners.
To keep the original high polish of the fiberglass parts, wax with a high quality one-step cleaner wax.
Repair damaged metal surfaces and use Cushman touch-up paint. Apply wax to equipment for maximum paint
protection.
VEHICLE STORAGE
General
Clean the vehicle and lubricate all lubrication points. Repair and paint damaged or exposed metal.
Inspect the vehicle; tighten all hardware, replace worn or damaged components.
Drain and refill the radiator.
Clean the tires and lift and place the vehicle on jack stands if possible. If the vehicle is not stored on jack stands,
check tires at normal intervals and add air when needed.
Keep the vehicle and all accessories clean, dry and protected from the elements. Never store the vehicle near an
open flame or spark which can cause ignition of fuel or fuel vapors.

To prevent fire, clean grass clippings and dirt from the attachments,
drives, engine and exhaust components.
Never clean attachments with your hands. Use a brush to clean attach-
ments. The attachments can have sharp edges and can cause injuries.
