MAINTENANCE
Read all of SAFETY and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to Notices, Cautions, Warnings and Dangers.
Change the engine oil each 100 hours of operation.
1. Start and run the engine long enough to warm.
2. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the crankcase and
clean with a cloth.
3. Drain the engine oil into a container.
4. Replace the drain plug and fill the engine with the correct
quantity and grade of oil through the filler.
Replace the oil filter when the oil is changed.
1. Remove the oil filter.
2. Let the oil flow into a container.
3. Clean the filter area.
4. Apply a thin layer of oil to the gasket on new filter. Install the oil
filter.
5. Hand tighten the filter.
6. Start the engine and check around the oil filter gasket for
leaks.
7. Stop the engine and check the engine oil level.
Engine Air Filter
Check the service indicator each day. If the red band
becomes visible in the window, replace the filter element.
Do not remove the element to inspect or clean. Unnecessary
removal of the filter increases the risk of dust and other
particles entering the engine.
To replace the filter:
1. Clean the outside of the filter housing.
2. Remove the old element carefully.
3. Clean the inside of the filter housing. Make sure dust and
other particles do not enter the engine inlet hose.
4. Inspect the new element. Do not use a damaged element and never use an incorrect element.
5. Assemble the filter element. Make sure the element seats correctly.
6. Press the button to set the service indicator.
7. Assemble the cap to the filter housing. Make sure the cap seals around the filter housing. The dust valve on the cap
must be at the bottom of the filter.
8. Fasten the cap with the two clips.
Check the air filter hoses for wear or damage. Make sure the hose clamps are tight and hold the hoses in position.
Fuel
Fuel is flammable. Use caution when you add fuel to the vehicle. Only use an approved fuel storage container. The
spout on the container must fit inside the fuel filler neck.

Engine oil can damage your skin. Use gloves when you use engine oil. If
engine oil touches your skin, clean the area immediately.
Discard used engine oil according to local regulations.
