OPERATING PROCEDURES
Read all of SAFETY and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to Notices, Cautions, Warnings and Dangers.

Accelerator Pedal

Press the accelerator pedal to increase the speed of the vehicle. Release the pedal to decrease the speed of the vehicle.
The diesel engine option controls the engine speed with a cable connected to the pedal and the engine throttle control.
When the hand throttle is moved, the accelerator pedal position moves.
The gasoline engine option pedal controls the engine speed electronically.
Brake Pedal
Press the brake pedal to decrease the vehicle speed or stop the vehicle.
If the brakes do not stop the vehicle, the brake system must be adjusted or repaired.
Clutch Pedal
Press the clutch pedal to disengage the power output from the engine to the transmission. Completely press the clutch
pedal to change the transmission gears. Do not change the transmission gears without the clutch pedal pressed.
The clutch pedal has an interlock switch that prevents the engine from starting unless the clutch pedal is pressed.
