Overview of Start-Up Procedures

The following table lists the things you will need to do before you can use
this board, and tells where to find the information you need to perform each
step. Be sure to read this entire chapter and read all Caution and Warning
notes before beginning.
What you need to do ...
Unpack the hardware.
Set jumpers on the MVME2300
module.
Prepare the PMCs.
Prepare the PMCspan module(s).
Prepare any other optional devices or
equipment you will be using.
Install the PMCs on the MVME2300
module.
Install the primary PMCspan module (if
used).
Install the secondary PMCspan module
(if used).
Install and connect the MVME2300
module.
Connect a console terminal.
Connect any other optional devices or
equipment you will be using.
