Safety locking system (option M10)
The safety locking system is based on the key transfer system developed by Castell. It is a
supplementary mechanism to the electromechanical door locking system integrated as
standard. The medium-voltage breaker must be opened before access can be gained to the
coded key of the key exchange unit. The opened medium-voltage breaker releases the key to
the key exchange unit. This key is used in turn to release the keys for the cabinet doors of the
power unit. This key interlocking system ensures that the drive is disconnected from the
medium-voltage supply and that no cabinet components are connected to medium voltage.
As long as the cabinet doors are not closed again and the keys to the power-unit cabinet are
not inserted back in the key exchange unit, the key for the medium-voltage breaker will not be
released. The medium-voltage breaker cannot be switched on again.

Dust protection (option M11)
The cabinet doors are equipped with additional filter mats. The filter mats prevent the entry of
dangerous dust deposits on the power module components.
The filter mats are fitted to the exterior of the cabinet doors, which means that they can be
replaced during operation.

Brass cable entry (option M36)
The cable entry is made of aluminum in the standard version. With option M36, the cable entry
for the power cables is made of brass. The cable entry for signal cables is made of aluminum
in both versions.

Degree of protection IP44 (option M44)
The degree of protection of the power section is increased from IP43 to IP44. The internal
losses are dissipated by a closed cooling circuit with air-water heat exchanger into the water.
