Probable Causes
Unsupported paper of the wrong size, thickness, or
type.
Originals are torn, previously stapled, bent, or folded.
The documents loaded in the document feeder
exceed the maximum capacity allowed.
Improperly adjusted document feeder guides.

Probable Causes
The paper is not correctly positioned in the tray.
The paper tray is too full.
The paper guides are not correctly adjusted to the
paper size.
The tray contains warped or wrinkled paper.
The paper is moist from humidity.
Using paper of the wrong size, thickness, or type.
Non-default media has been loaded and has not
been identified at the User Interface.

Probable Causes
Some paper remains jammed in the kiosk.
One of the kiosk doors is open.

Solutions
Use only Xerox
-approved paper. For details, refer to
®
Supported
Paper.
Ensure that the originals are not torn, bent, or folded.
If previously stapled, remove all staples and separate
the sheets by fanning them.
Place fewer documents in the document feeder.
Adjust the paper guides to fit snugly against the
paper loaded in the document feeder.
Solutions
1 Remove the misfed paper and reposition it
properly in the tray.
2 Adjust the paper guides in the tray to match the
size of the paper.
Remove some of the paper. Do not load paper past
the fill line.

size of the paper.
3 Replace the paper.
Remove the paper, smooth it out, and reload it. If it
still misfeeds, do not use that paper.
Remove the moist paper and replace it with new, dry
paper.

Identify the media size and type at the User
Interface. For details, refer to the System
Administrator Guide at www.support.xerox.com.
Solutions
Recheck the media path and make sure that you
have removed all the jammed paper.
Check the doors on the kiosk. Close any door that is
open.
