ADVANCED OPERATION

Sounding a Siren

Hold down [Siren] for the Emer SW ON Timer (Sec)
period to emit a siren sound from the speaker to
let surrounding people know that the user is in an
Emergency situation�
The siren will sound continuously until the transceiver
is turned OFF�

Radio Access Number (RAN)

Radio Access Number (RAN) is a signaling system
designed for digital radio communications� When
a channel is set up with a RAN, the squelch will
open only when a call containing a matching RAN is
received� If a call containing a different RAN is made
on the same channel a user is using, a user will not
hear the call�
