1. Introduction Application AK-LM 330 is a complete monitoring unit with the option of regu- lation functions via relay switches. The monitoring unit is used to detect temperature, pressure, functions etc. in and around appliance cases and cold rooms for commercial and industrial cooling.
Extension module AK-XM 107A Function The module contains eight inputs for pulse counting. AK-LM 330 can detect signals from 4 pulse signals. As an alternative, the input can be used to register a signal for synchronising or an On/Off signal. (DI function).
Data from this example is used on the next page. The result is that the following modules should be used: • AK-LM 330 Monitoring unit • AK-XM 102B extension module with digital high voltage inputs • AK-XM 107A extension module with pulse inputs •...
We have decided to work on the basis of the example we went through previously, i.e. the following modules: • AK-LM 330 Monitoring unit • AK-XM 102B digital input module for 230 V signals • AK-XM 107A pulse counter module •...

We have decided to describe the setup by means of an example comprising the connections shown below. The example is the same as the one given in the "Design" section, i.e. the controller is an AK-LM 330 + 2 extension modules. • Temperature reading with temperature shown on the display (Saux1) •...

The main meter measures all of the consumption for the installa- tion. Some main meters are fitted with tariff and synchronisation switches. The AK-LM 330 can receive the synchronisation signal. The synchronisation switch changes at regular intervals (typically every 15 mins) and indicates that a new measurement period has started.
