You should not need to select Reset Module unless you want to reset the device and
put it in storage.

Do not power off the module while the green PROCESS LED is on.
This LED indicates that the FP-1600 is updating its configuration or
receiving a firmware upgrade. If power is lost while the PROCESS
LED is on, the configuration settings could be lost.
Use FieldPoint Explorer to reset the FP-1600 before moving it to a new
network or subnet. If you do not reset the FP-1600, the device might
be unable to communicate with the new network. To reset the FP-1600,
from the FP-1600 Properties window, click on Reset Module. This
resets the FP-1600 to the factory settings. When you click on this
button, the module returns to an unconfigured state. You must
reconfigure the module before you can use it again.
