Troubleshooting
FieldPoint FP-1600 User Manual
The green RX LED is lit when the FP-1600 receives data from the Ethernet.
Because of unrelated network traffic, this LED blinks occasionally even
when the FP-1600 is inactive.
The yellow 100 Mbps LED is lit when the FP-1600 is communicating at
100 megabits per second. If the 100 Mbps LED does not light, all
communications with the FP-1600 will be at 10 megabits per second.
The green LINK LED is lit when the FP-1600 is connected to an active
Ethernet segment.

The FP-1600 has not been configured with a proper IP
address. Refer to Chapter 3,
Configuration, for more information.

The FP-1600 is in Reset mode. Switch the FP-1600
back to Normal mode by powering down the device and
sliding the switch underneath the unit away from the
I/O modules. Restore power and configure the module.
Refer to Appendix A,
information.

The FP-1600 has detected an error in its firmware. This
usually occurs when an attempt to upgrade the firmware
is interrupted. Repeat the firmware upgrade process.

The FP-1600 cannot communicate with the Time
Service. Be sure that the Time Service is running on the
computer that you specified when you configured the
FP-1600. Refer to the section
Hardware with FieldPoint Explorer

The FP-1600 has detected an unrecoverable error.
Contact National Instruments for more information of
finding the cause of this error.
