Identifying the Inverter
Refer to the sticker on the inverter t hat specifies its Serial Number and its Electrical Ratings. P rovide the
serial number when contacting SolarEdge support. The serial number is also required when opening a
new site in the m onitoring platform.
Inverter Interfaces
The following figure shows the inverter connectors and interfaces.
AC output: For connection of the AC grid
l
DC input: For connection of the PV installation
l
ON/OFF switch: Turning this switch ON starts the operation of the power optimizers, enables power
l
production and allows the inverter to begin exporting power to the utility grid. Turning it OFF
reduces the power optimizer voltage to a low safety voltage and inhibits exportation of power. When
this switch is OFF, the inverter control circuitry remains powered up.
LCD buttons: U sed for accessing configuration menu options and displaying status screens, as
l
described in Configuring the Inverter on page 38. Pressing these buttons produces beeping sounds and
lights up the LCD for 30 seconds.
