Interrupt Assignments

The functions are assigned different interrupts, depending on the operating system. A
distinction is made between the PIC and APIC modes.
The table describes the assignment of the interrupts in the delivery state of the device.

Interrupt in APIC mode
BIOS Default Interrupt in PIC mode, e.g., DOS
Host PCI-IRQ A to H is assigned to IRQ 16 to 23 permanently in APIC mode. Host PCI-IRQ A to H
will be automatically assigned IRQ 0 to 15 by BIOS in PIC mode. A specific assignment can not
be enforced.
