7.3.2 Unlock during up

This option is available so that the pawls are operated when the UP button is
operated. This will suppress the clicking noise while raising.
This function has no effect on the safety of the column lift. The pawl will be pulled in
again when the <UP> button is released. "Unlock during up" is active when the
function is <ON>.

7.3.3 Crush limit

A height of approximately 12 inches is set when using a remote control, beneath
which the lowering function will no longer function. This function is enabled by
default. This function must only be disabled during maintenance work on the column.

7.3.4 Height difference guard

This option ensures that the column can operate outside the cutoff limits (3/4" when
being lowered and 2 3/8" when being raised). This can be used to level the lift
outside the safe limits. Height difference guard must then be switched <OFF>.
The screen shows the messages <Warning 14> and <Height difference guard is
off>. There is also an acoustic signal when raising or lowering to alert the operator
to the fact that this servicing operation is enabled.
Note
n
This setting is active for 10 minutes and the height difference guard is then
automatically switched back <ON> again. The height difference monitoring can be
switched back <ON> again from the service menu. This setting is not stored in
memory, so height difference guard is always switched <ON> after the system is
switched off and on again.

7.3.5 Height monitoring

This option ensures that the value at the potentiometer input is replaced by a
constant value. The column will function normally without the height differences
being corrected. This can be used to check whether the potentiometers (for height
measurement) are working properly. Height guard must then be switched <OFF>.
If the height differences between the columns become larger during raising and
lowering, there may be problems in the hydraulic circuit or other mechanical faults.
