Web-based Management This chapter provides setup details of the IP camera’s web-based interface. 3.1 Introduction The IP camera can be configured with your web browser. Before configuring, please make sure your PC is under the same IP segment as IP camera.

In some networks with very strict security policy, it is required that all the network devices should have their host name, and when the devices attempt to access the network by requesting an IP address from a DHCP server, the DHCP server would check if the host name is among the allowed devices.
