Reader Connections (External Reader)

Proximity Reader Connection
Connect (+) wire of the RFK505 to +12V (Red wire).

Connect (-) wire of the RFK505 to GND (Black wire).
●
Connect DATA0 wire of the RFK505 to DATA0 (Pink wire).
●
Connect DATA1 wire of the RFK505 to DATA1 (Cyan wire).
●
If the controller and the external reader use separate power sources, you must con
nect the GND between the controller and the external reader.
