Clean the glass after the first use of
the fireplace and clean the glass re-
gularly in the initial period.

Wear (rubber) gloves when cleaning
the glass; fingerprints are particular-
ly noticeable on anti-reflective glass.

Use water and a soft cotton cloth,
chamois leather
or a microfibre cloth.
•
Use neutral glass detergent only:
water solution with neutral or light
alkaline detergent without additives
or abrasive substances. The accep-
table share of ammonia and solvents
that are organically soluble in water
must be smaller than 5%.

Carefully clean the glass: use suffi-
cient moisture, avoid pressure and
rub the substance from top to bot-
tom, to prevent cleaning detergent
to remain on the glass.

Continuously dry the glass comple-
tely using the cloth.
•
When using a vacuum lifter to remo-
ve the door, the suction cup rubber
must be clean in order to prevent
damage to the coating.
