IDENTIFYING OVERHEAD TRAVEL INFORMATION SYSTEM PROBLEM
Perform TEST SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION 1A Before Proceeding
Verify the failure or customer's complaint and make sure the vehicle is experiencing the problem at
this time.
1. With the DRB, select ''Body'', then select ''OTIS''.
A. If the DRB shows ''No Response'', or the OTIS screen is blank; . . . . . . . .perform ''Vehicle
B. If any other type of communication problem does exist; . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .perform ''Vehicle
2. With the DRB, select ''Auto Self Test'' and observe the OTIS screen.
A. If any of the segments fail to light up . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .replace the OTIS Module.
B. If the OTIS screen show ''FAIL''. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .replace the OTIS Module.
C. If the OTIS screen does not show any communication (numbered values); . . . . . . .replace
