TEST 11B
PROGRAMMING A TRANSMITTER
Perform TEST 11A Before Proceeding
NOTE: Anytime the RKE is in programming mode, all transmitters that will be used on that vehicle
should be programmed at that time. If not, the others will have to be programmed later by using the
customer programmable method.
1. Ensure transmitter batteries are approximately 3.2 volts each.
2. Turn the ignition on (engine off) and ensure the vehicle is in the park position.
3. Using the DRB select "Miscellaneous", "Program RKE". The BCM will chime.
4. Press any button on the transmitter. The BCM will chime.
5. Press any button on the next transmitter. The BCM will chime.
A. Repeat for all other transmitters that will be used (up to a total of 4 per vehicle).
6. Exit "Program RKE" and turn ignition off. The BCM will chime.
