IDENTIFYING WARNING LAMP PROBLEMS
Perform an indicator self test by turning the ignition to the full ''off'' position, then turn the ignition to
the ''run'' position and observe each and every lamp in the instrument cluster.
NOTE: The oil warning lamp, high beam, trunk ajar, and turn signals can not be actuated with the
self test.
Verify the failure or customers complaint and make sure the vehicle is experiencing the problem at
this time.
