7.4.1

Shortening or extending the pump/sensor connection cable

Available extensions (10 m long)
- Item no. 80889 sensor
- Item no. 80890 motor
- Item no. 80891 pump
The maximum cable length of 30 m must not be exceeded
If a connection cable is shortened, connect the
wires as per Fig. [30]..
7.4.2

Updates and data read

General
For the control unit to function with a connected USB stick, the USB stick plus connector must be no longer than
20 mm. Otherwise, the housing cannot be closed (see 7.4.3). External hard drives must not be connected; other-
wise, the control unit will not work (max. 100 mA supply). A USB stick must be assigned a name via a Windows
PC before it is used with the control unit.
If a USB is connected to the control unit, it is detected automatically. The Data exchange menu appears with the
following options:
- Data read-out
- Software update*
- Read in parameter
* The options only appear if there is a corresponding file (*.hex) on the USB stick
If the 0 System info menu is displayed (when a USB stick is connected), the ESC key can be used to select the
Data exchange menu described above
Reading out data
• Connect the USB stick.
• Select Data read-out and press OK to confirm. A file containing the system data is stored on the USB stick
(*.csv).
