Procedures to carry out after Cultivation
Reagent bottles and gassing line
When the fluid inlet lines ("Fluid Addition Lines") are completely
emptied:
1.
Clamp off the silicone hose near to the lid on the reagent
bottle.
2.
Remove the female Luer Lock connector on the silicone hose
from the male Luer Lock connector on the fluid inlet line
("Fluid Addition Line") of the single-use vessel.
3.
Close the female Luer Lock connector with a male Luer Lock
cap.
When all reagent bottles are disconnected from the single-use
vessel:

Put the reagent bottles into the reagent bottle and pump
holder.
5.
Pull the mounting plate with the pump heads off the pump
motor drive shafts on the basic unit and fit it onto the reagent
bottle and pump holder.
6.
Twist and remove the Luer Lock connector on the gassing
hose of the equipment out of the filter on the sparger line of
the single-use vessel.
Sensors
1.
Loosen and remove the sensor cable from the pH sensor.
2.
Loosen and remove the sensor cable from the pO
3.
Remove the temperature sensor (Pt-100) from the thermowell
in the single-use vessel.
Also disconnect all cables from any further optional sensors
(e.g. Level, Redox etc.).
4.
Loosen the sensors in the PG13.5 ports in the vessel top plate
of the single-use vessel and remove them.
