Changing the Lookup Mode
Beginning with Cisco Release 5.2(1) for the Nexus 7000 Series chassis, you can configure the lookup mode
to be based on the MAC address either globally or per VLAN.

Purpose
Enters global configuration mode.
Globally changes the lookup mode to be based
on the MAC address. To return to the default
IP lookup mode, use the no form of this
command.
