F Place the foot of jack 2 on the ground and
ensure that it is directly below the front
A or rear B jacking point provided on the
underbody, whichever is closest to the
wheel to be changed.
Ensure that the jack is stable on a surface
that is not loose or slippery and positioned
only at jacking points A or B under the
vehicle, making sure that the contact point
on the vehicle is centred on the jack head.
Otherwise, there is a risk of damage to
the vehicle and/or the jack collapsing or
slipping – Risk of injury!
F Extend jack 2 until its head comes into
contact with jacking point A or B used,
having contact surface A or B on the vehicle
correctly engaged with the central part of
the head of the jack.
F Raise the vehicle until there is sufficient
space between the wheel and the ground
to admit the spare (not punctured) wheel
easily.
In the event of a breakdown
F Remove the bolts and keep them in a clean
place.
F Remove the wheel.
