Install drive unit on rails

Install the drive unit on the rails.
Procedure
Once the rail is securely anchored in place with the proper
clearances and dimensions, you can mount the drive unit at
the top of the rail.
1 Remove the front cover from the drive unit (10 screws).
2 Remove the gear cover (four bolts) as shown below.

3 Install the drive unit on the rails.
WARNING
The drive unit is heavy! Be careful when lifting it.
a. First insert four bolts into the holes in the rail as
shown in the next figure. Note that the longer bolt
goes in the top hole.

b. Carefully lift the drive unit so it is behind the rail and
then line it up with the four bolts you just inserted.
c. Tighten the four bolts to secure the drive unit.

4 Install the brush contact (as shown below) and secure it
in place with the two screws provided.
5 Using dielectric grease, lubricate the face of the
flywheel where the brush contact will rub on it.

6 Do not reinstall the gear cover or the drive unit front
cover yet; installation of the rope and electrical
connections must be done first.
