6 Reinstall the four conical rollers on the lower tube (see
below). Put some grease on the area of the shoulder
bolt where the conical rollers will rotate.

Step 7

Attach platform (as required)

Attach the platform to the carriage (if it is disassembled
from the carriage).
Procedure
WARNING
The platform is heavy! Be careful when moving it.
1 With the unit at the lower landing, position the platform
at the bottom of the carriage.
2 Install the pin through the top hole of the platform
hinge and into the carriage (at both sides of the
platform) as shown below. Make sure the pin is oriented
with the flat side toward the back of the hinge (to align
with the screw in the next step).
3 Lock the pin in place with a screw at the back of the
hinge as shown below.
