%G User References and CPU Memory Locations

The CPU contains one data space for all of the global data references (%G). The internal CPU memory
for this data is 7680 bits long. For Series 90-70 systems, the programming software subdivides this
range using %G, %GA, %GB, %GC, %GD, and %GE prefixes—allowing each of these prefixes to be
used with bit offsets in the range 1–1280. For PACSystems, these ranges are converted to %G.
