Sensor-independent settings

6.2.1 System

To open the Storage & config menu, press the <ENTER_> key in the measured
value display. After completing the settings, switch to the measured value dis-
play with <M>.
Default settings are printed in bold.

Salinity or salinity equivalent for the
salt content correction.
This menu item if only available if the
manual salinity correction (Sal cor-
rection) isswitched on.
30 ... 300 s
Response time of the signal filter (in
seconds).
A signal filter in the sensor reduces
the limits of variation of the mea-
sured value. The signal filter is char-
acterized by the response time t90.
This is the time after which 90 % of a
signal change is displayed.

Resets all sensor settings to the
delivery condition (see section 6.3.1

Explanation
Selects the menu language
Switches on/off the beep on keystroke
Switches the display illumination on/off
Changes the display contrast
Adjusts the switch-off time
Temperature unit,
degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.
All temperature values are displayed with the
selected unit.
