Installing the Objective

Correct:
Figure 4: Center of load close to aperture
Incorrect:
Mounting the load incorrectly causes high strain on the flexure guides in the Z drive, high torques and
the danger of oscillations.
Figure 5: Center of load far below the aperture
Requirements
 You have read and understood the safety precautions (p. 3).
 You have affixed the P-725 to the microscope (p. 10).

Pay attention to a maximum torque of 0.6 Nm.
