Fork Oil Replacement
1. Place a suitable stand under the engine
to keep the front of machine raised off
the floor.
2.
Remove the valve cap and depress the air
valve to allow the air to escape from the
fork legs.
3. Remove the cap bolt assembly.
4. Place an open container beneath each
drain hole and remove the drain bolt.

5. After most of oil has drained, slowly raise
and lower outer tubes to pump out re-
maining oil.

Install drain bolts.
NOTE: ______________________ _
Check gasket, replace if damaged.
7. Measure the correct amount of oil and
pour it into each leg. After filling, allow it
a few minutes and slowly pump the inner
tube up and down

or 3 times so that air
can be extracted from the oil.

Recommended oil:
Fork oil 10 wt or
SAE

motor oil
Oil quantity:

8. Inspect the a-ring on the cap bolt; if it is
cut or otherwise damaged, replace the
a-ring.

9. Install the cap bolt, and torque to
specification.
TIGHTENING TORQUE:
23 Nm (2.3 m·kg, 17 ft·lb)
10 Check the air pressure, and set it to
specification.
Air pressure
STD: 0 kPa (0 kg/cm2, 0 psi)
MAX: 58.8 kPa (0.6 kg/cm2, 8.5 psi)
