Light/ Dimmer switch
Start the engine and rev the engine to 1500
rpm.
Measure the voltage on Yellow/Red lead to
light/dimmer switch.

Yellow/Red lead
Check the voltage regulator and replace
if necessary.

12V and less than
Disconnect the lightl dimmer switch leads, and
use the pocket tester to check the resistance
of the switch.
OFF: Y/R - L, G, and Y
LOW: Y/R - G
HI: Y/R - Y
