6 Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

Error Messages

6.1
When error messages occur, a pop-up window appears with the error message highlighted.
Any sound effects related to errors will be heard.
• Press Silence Alarm to stop the sound but keep the error message on the screen.
• Press OK to close the error message pop-up window and view the Diagnostics tab.

Cause
Occurs when the syringe door is ajar
Occurs when communications are lost
Occurs when there is a problem with the flow
of sample through the 9705

Possible Cause
Unit may be disconnected from AC
power.
Check fuses in AC power cord.
Backlight timeout is in effect.
