This section explains how to run LANAID to configure the PC Card for operation
with a previously installed network operating system and device driver. See
"Chapter 4. Software Installation" on page 9 for information on installing network
operating systems and device drivers.
If you are using Card and Socket Services, LANAID will default to Autoset mode,
which allows the LAN driver to negotiate with Card and Socket Services for
available resources. If you do not use Autoset mode, LANAID will allow you to
select values for resources, such as Interrupt and I/O Address, to be used by your
PC Card.
