With the standard support (see figure 51), this adjustment can be
performed by removing the bolt "A" (4mm Allen key) and changing
the position of the eccentric hexagon "A
support. Once reached the correct position, insert the hexagon in
the fork support and tight the bolt hard.
The adjustment of the angle of the front forks needs
to be checked periodically in order to ensure that the
axis of the fork always remains at 90° to the groun d.
The adjustment or at least the inspection will in any
case be necessary any time the front or the rear
height is modified
adjustment").
Height adjustment (figure 52):
This adjustment is important to reach the correct front height of the
wheelchair. The front height that can be reached depends on the
size of the caster and on the size of the forks (eg. with 5" caster
and medium fork, it will be possible to set the front height at
44/45/46/47 cm) (see table 2).
To adjust the front height, remove the bolt "C" (4 mm Allen key),
slide the axle out, and move the caster to another hole (n° 2 holes
for small fork, n° 4 holes for medium fork, n° 5 hole s for long fork).
Insert the bolt and fix it tightly.
The adjustment of the front height is necessary when
the caster is charged with another of different size or
when you simply wish to change the front height of
the wheelchair .
Every time the height is adjusted it is also necessary
to check and adjust the front fork angle.

6.6 Backrest angle adjustment

To reach a more correct upper body posture, it is possible to adjust
the inclination of the backrest from +9° to -9° tha n 90° to the seat.
The rear frame with backrest angle adjustment (Dynamic
rear frame) is an accessory for this model, therefore it has
to be requested at purchase (and marked in the order
form).
It could be mounted afterward but it involves the complete
replacement of the rear frame. Due to the complexity of the
operation, it can only be done by qualified personnel.
To carry out the adjustment, loosen the bolts "V" (two on the inside
and other two on the outside) and tilt the backrest tube to increase or
decrease the angle.
Once reached the desired inclination, tighten the bolts "V" hard.
