Adjustment through the receiver:
beginning from the example of figure 49, where the receiver "B"
is fixed in the central hole of one of the arms "A", with 22mm and
24mm spanners, remove the receiver "B" and its nut and washer.
To fix the receiver in the central hole "F" of the other arm "A",
use the same parts.
To fix the receiver in
one of the three joints
(as
shown
in
the
square of figure 49), it
is necessary to remove
the joint bolt and nut
(5mm Allen key and 13
mm
socket
wrench)
and the two spacers.
Then, with the provided
adaptation
kit
(a
threaded buckle and a
spacer) fix the receiver
using 22mm and 26mm
spanners.
In most cases this kind of adjustment changes both the height
and the depth (setting) of the rear wheel.
Adjustment through the joints: the rear wheel adjustment can be
performed working on the joints "T" (see figure 50). With a 5mm
Allen key and a 13mm spanner, loosen the bolt of each joint (if the
receiver "B" is fixed in one of them, loosen it with 22mm and
26mm spanners); then, with 4mm Allen key and a 10 mm spanner,
loosen the support "S1" (see square figure 50) and the headless
bolts on the same support. It is now possible to slide the support
Fig. 49
"S1" along the frame and rotate the two arms "A" to determine the
new position of the rear wheel.
The support "S2" can be
fixed in any of the pre-
drilled hole "H" on the
curved side of the frame
after removing the three
fixing bolts (3mm Allen
key).
Once reached the desired
position,
first
fix
the
support "S2", then the
"S1"and finally the joints
"T".
To adjust the other side in
the same position, fix the
support "S2" in the same
holes "H" and the support
"S1" at the same distance
from the crossbar rail as
shown in the square of
figure 48. Finally fix the
joints "T".
The mudguard support "P" can be moved along the frame and it
can be fixed either in front or at the back of the support "S1" (see
chapter 6.11 "Mudguard adjustment").
See also "rear wheel adjustment with Dynamic
rear frame Dynamic" for further information and
details at pages 53 and 54.
The adjustment of the rear wheel can affect the
inclination of the seat. In such case it is necessary to
adjust the front fork angle following the procedure
reported on charter 6.5 "Front wheel height and fork
angle adjustment".
